Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - is designed for a smaller, weaker person to successfully defend against a bigger, stronger person using leverage and proper technique, taking the fight to the ground. BJJ uses joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person. BJJ training can be used for sport grappling tournaments and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition or self-defense. Sparring (or "rolling") is a major part of training in addition to strong core development. At MSB we run a (IBJJF) accredited school and use BJJ technuiques in our fight-fit classes and MMA training.
